Hey Dreamer, I’m Merritt
I remember clear as day how it felt to have a dream in my heart and zero confidence about stepping into it. I absorbed every bit of teaching I could: enrolling in courses, watching all the webinars, joining all the Facebook groups. I scheduled goal-setting sessions, found accountability partners, joined mastermind groups, and the list goes on.
None of it worked as i hoped.
Why? Because I hadn’t dealt with the fear and imposter syndrome in my heart about stepping into the unknown. Instead of listening to the voice of my Father, I heard a cruel, accusing and shaming voice that said: “Who are you to think you can do this?”
But that voice didn’t win!
Seven years later, I have grown in confidence to show up with what God has given me to do “for the praise of His glory” (rather than the approval of man). I have learned through His Word and the witness of His daughters that I am free to pursue the dream, make mistakes, get up, try again, and praise Him at every turn.

I’ve transitioned from my career as a full-time freelance writer to pursue my dream as a podcast host, dream coach, heartfelt ministry leader, business owner, and full-time momma of two beautiful young girls.

How do I know if this course is right for me?
If you're a Bible-believing Christian woman struggling with negative thinking about yourself, your gifts or your abilities, this course will point you straight to Scripture for tackling those thoughts. If you're feeling alone in the struggle, we will surround you with a caring community to lift you up, pray for you and strengthen your hope in Christ.
If you're not a Christian but are exploring the faith and have a sincere desire to know Jesus as your Savior, you will be blessed by our weekly interaction with God’s Word, which never returns void and always accomplishes its purpose (Isaiah 55:11).
When will the calls be held?
For the summer ‘23 session, I am planning calls for every other Tuesday (morning, Mountain Time) starting July 11th through September 19th. Our seventh call will be our wrap-up on September 26th. Exact time is currently TBD until we know the time zone for each student.
Do I need to know what my God-shaped dream is to participate?
The course is designed to meet you where you are on the journey of considering a God-shaped dream whether or not you know what shape it will eventually take. If you have struggled with fear, comparison, or feeling “not enough” this study is a great next step to help you live in the freedom that is already yours in Christ.
How many people will be in the group?
I offer 15 spots for each session of Dreamers Unleashed.
What if I am unable to attend one of the calls?
The call will be hosted on Zoom, recorded and available to students within 24 hours after it ends. I will schedule our meetings at a recurring day and time each week that is available to most students. Should you need to miss one or two, please plan to set aside time that week to watch the recording. If you need to miss more than two sessions, please consider enrolling at a later date as the in-person meetings play an important role in the students’ overall experience in the study.
Do you offer refunds?
Because there are a limited number of spots available and your payment secures your spot (thus making it unavailable for another student) I am unable to offer refunds at this time. Of course, if you register and learn you cannot participate, you may find a friend who can take your spot and then work out the payment with them.
I’m not sure this is the right time for me. When will you offer this course again?
I don’t expect to open registration again until Summer 2024.
