IF YOU HAVE WANTED TO SAY YES TO A GOD-SHAPED DREAM, THIS IS THE EPISODE FOR YOU!

This is such a special episode because it’s episode 200 and I chose to do something I have never done before on the show.

Celebrating milestones is something I want to get better at, and Devoted Dreamers has had some big ones in the past month:

  • The podcast turned five on June 1, 2021

  • We hit 200,000 downloads at the end of May

  • And this is episode 200!

 Thanks for celebrating with me!

I am honored to be interviewed by my friend and past guest Tabitha Bigbee-Highland, founder of Every Day Faith, whose mission is to support women in establishing and growing their daily Word habit in order to recognize and obey the voice of their Creator.

Tabitha and I met through a mutual online friend a few years ago. I was drawn to her playful spirit and her love for ballet (because of a budding ballerina in my life) and most especially her manner of encouraging women to be in God’s Word on a daily basis without it being about checking it off your list. If you want to hear more about that you can listen to my interview with her in 2019 called Learning to Listen to God Through His Word.

Whether or not you submitted a question for this interview through my Facebook group, you’re gonna love this one if:

  • You’ve ever wanted more of the backstory of Devoted Dreamers,

  • You enjoy hearing about how others face the challenges that come when you pursue a dream, or

  • You just love random facts about people you’ve met on the internet (be sure to stick around for the speed round towards the end!)

Scripture:

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
~ Ephesians 4:14 (NIV)

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
~ 2 Corinthians 4:7 (NIV)

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
~ Romans 8:11 (NIV)

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
~ Galatians 2:20 (NIV)

“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."
~ Zephaniah 3:17

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
~ Psalm 139:13 (NIV)
