130 || How to Turn Up the Volume on Truth || Charlena Ortiz

Charlena Ortiz, founder of Grit & Virtue, teaches us how she’s learned to trust Jesus as her sustainer, sought the unforced rhythms of grace in pursuit of her dream, and discovered patience with herself and with God in the process.

IF YOU HAVE EVER WONDERED HOW FIND CLARITY FOR YOUR DREAM, THIS WAS THE EPISODE FOR YOU.

Charlena offers a helpful question to ask yourself if you’re still trying to figure out your dream. And she explains how we might gain clarity on the lies we believe and, instead, turn up the volume on what is true—based on Scripture.

You’ll also discover how your dream can become a tool for personal transformation and why that’s so important. Charlena’s story illustrates what this looks like; and I can confirm that this has been my experience as well. You know I like to say that it’s not so much about what the dream is but about what God’s going to do with you in the process!

In case you’re not familiar with Grit & Virtue, they’ve made it their mission to equip women on a mission to build unstoppable momentum, become spiritually confident and to never feel alone on the journey. If you resonate with the message of Devoted Dreamers, I know you’re going to love learning more about Charlena and Grit & Virtue.

Scripture:

“You will keep in perfect peace
    those whose minds are steadfast,
    because they trust in you.”

~ Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

~ Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)
